The traditional Estonian diatonic accordion has been played in Kristi’s family for several generations, already her grandfather was a merry musician. During her studies in Viljandi, Janne spent some time in Sweden at the Eric Sahlström Institute where she studied the local traditional instrument nyckelharpa. The young ladies are mainly interested in the repertoire for the traditional Estonian diatonic accordion, Estonian kannel and fiddle and more generally in playing traditional dance songs.
