Headscarf Wood-Block Printing Workshop

When going to the forest and you’ve forgotten your basket or left your slippers on, it is no big deal, but forgetting your headscarf makes you a real easy catch. To keep the bugs away from your hair and to keep the devious forest spirits from misleading you, you definitely need a good headscarf with protective signs that have been printed by your very own hands. To make it even prettier, some national patterns will also be added.

If you don’t have a headscarf like this just yet or your stock needs to be refilled, it is yet another reason to come to Seto Folk! The wood-block printing workshop is led by the loved and renowned handicraft master Maret Vabarna.
