Everyone that wishes to enjoy good old songs and dances in fresh air are welcome to the Song and Round Games Workshop. We´ll see how to create the chaos of playing catch, how to to build the world up again and again in the creation game and how to try and catch the rhythm of the musician or lead singer with our very own dance feet.
The song games are led by Ülle Paltser and Jaanika Viilmaa that have been the long time leaders of the folk ensemble Sinimaniseele and of several other national handicraft and folk music workshops. Between the two of them, they have a total of six children that all add merriment to their workshops. “For us, folk culture is a process, a way to apprehend the world and share similar values with our friends and families”. We invite everyone to take part of the journey on searching the bygone and humane meanings of folk culture.
